The Rosedale Hotel & Restaurant, Portree

The hotel was conveniently located near the harbor and local activities, offering an extremely comfortable bed and nice linen. The service was attentive and welcoming, especially the receptionist. The dining experience was outstanding every day, with a variety of delicious options. The rooms were smaller than expected and noisy during the day due to some loud machinery, but the situation was resolved promptly. Overall, a great spot for those looking for good views and restaurant proximity.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and had big comfy beds, ensuring a great night's sleep. The service was excellent, with super friendly and approachable staff. The location was perfect, situated right on the water front with lovely views over the harbor. The dining experience was delicious, although slightly delayed, but overall top-notch. A few minor noise disturbances during specific hours were the only drawback, but they didn't overshadow the benefits of this hotel.

Staying in the attic room with dark brown walls, at this hotel comprised of 3 old fisherman's houses, had its charm although the old bath felt a bit dated. The service was incredibly warm and personalized, making me feel right at home. The location couldn't have been better, overlooking the picturesque Portree harbor, and the dining options were truly delicious.

Staying at the hotel was a delightful experience overall. The rooms were beautifully done with an incredibly comfortable bed, clever entertainment package, and outstanding sea views. However, they looked a bit tired, and the sub-basement location opposite a car park could be potentially dangerous with the car engines so close to the window. The service was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the stay really clean and comfortable. The location was fantastic, with great views from the bedroom and a good quality shower in the en-suite, although the parking facilities were very poor. The dining experience was good, with very friendly staff and a delicious breakfast, even delivered to the room. The facilities were good, but there were some concerns about the location and the tired appearance of the rooms.

Staying at this hotel was a real treat! The rooms were literally 10ft from Portree Harbour, which was truly marvelous. Everything we needed for our one-night stay was well organized in the room. It was really clean and comfortable, although it could benefit from some sprucing up in a few areas. The service was top-notch, with our evening meal being absolutely delicious and the staff being professional and welcoming. The location couldn't have been better, with stunning views and easy access to local restaurants and shops. The dining experience was mostly great, but a take-away option caused a small hiccup in timing. Overall, a wonderful stay with a few minor improvements to consider.
